Course Genesis

"There's no book teaching us how to parent."

My father said this to me once when I was a kid. It's stuck with me ever since. Now I deal with parents and their children every day, helping them manage their pain, recover from injury, and get back to what they love doing; playing sport.

I've been blessed growing up in the Australian sporting culture. It's taught me so much as both an athlete and as a human. But through the road of junior sport to a semi-professional athlete, there's been a lot of bumps along the way.

The Athlete Collection stems from these two aspects of my life; physiotherapy and sport. These courses are designed to help you, as an athlete, or you, as a parent, prepare for, and overcome hurdles, as well as excel as both an athlete, and as a human.

Let our mistakes and experiences help you on your journey.

Testimonials

Chris Gentle

Netball Parent

My family and I have been using the Athlete Collection for the past few weeks and it has been brilliant. The information is really clear and easy to understand. Zac has put a lot of emphasis on making the information build on from each of the modules to really help with the learning process. My daughter had an ankle injury and the site really helped her with understanding the injury and assisted her with her recovery and the exercises involved. What makes this app outstanding is that it provides a holistic view, in terms of providing that psychological support and nutritional advice in addition to the information about the injury and rehabilitation process - it really has all of the information you need! I would definitely recommend to others.

Alex Brighouse

AFL Athlete

I completed the Athlete’s Guide course recently and highly recommend it! It provides a great amount of information and detail, without being overly technical or difficult to read. The practical components of the course are also easy to action and very beneficial. The mentors are knowledgeable and personable and all have a very obvious passion for health and wellness. This course would be a great resource for anyone who wants to get more out of their training and performance and reach their fitness goals, whether that be an elite level athlete, a weekend warrior or a teen just getting started on their journey. Thank you to Zac, Naomi and Alec for creating such a good course!

Brendan Sainsbury

Exercise & Sport Scientist

Every parent wants the best for their children, and unless you were an elite athlete yourself, how are you to know? Where do you even start? As a strength and conditioning coach, I see development athletes at all different levels, and those that have a sound foundation have a huge advantage. Resources like this, from a knowledgable and experienced team, are invaluable to boost the opportunities available to young athletes. Couldn’t speak more highly of the team and what they have to offer!

Chloe Pratt

Physiotherapist

An exceptional, easy to understand course that covers all the basics needed for any athletes in sport. I gained a lot of insight into sports nutrition and psychology I wish I had known growing up. It covered great principles and I think everyone would take a lot away from all three sections of this course. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough!
